1 – Lake Saif ul Malook

Lake Saif ul Malook is a famous tourist place  well known for the associated story of a Persian prince Saif ul Malook. It is located about 8 kilometers (5 miles) north from the town of Naran in District Mansehra, KPK and is approximately 3244 meters high than the sea level. The images of Malaika Parbat and other surrounding mountains perfect the sight.

2 – Shangrila Lake

The Shangrila Lake is second amongst the most beautiful lakes of Pakistan. The lake is also known as “Lower Kachura Lake” and is located at a drive of about 25 minutes from Skardu town. The lake is a part of the Shangrila resort. Shangrila was named after a book titled Lost Horizon by James Hilton. Shangri-la is a Chinese word meaning “Heaven on earth”.

3 – Ansoo Lake

Ansoo Lake that is situated in the Kaghan Valley. This Lake is approximately 16,000 feet high. Its soothing beauty has won it an international praise and attracts several tourists from across the world every year. 4- Dudipatsar Lake

Dudipatsar Lake that is situated 4175 meters high on the extreme north of the Kaghan Valley. One can get to the lack by traveling for around four hours from Jalkhad area of Naran. Dudipatsar means white like milk in the local language but its actual color is bluish and not white.

5 – Satpara Lake

Satpara Lake is on mumber five, which is situated approximately 8500 feet above the sea level. There are powerful mountains surrounding the lake that are covered with ice especially in winter.

Sixth on the list is Rush Lake which is the highest lake in Pakistan situated at the height of 5098 meters near a Rush Pari mountain. This lake is positioned on the world’s 25th highest mountain.

This beautiful lake is situated in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, at the height of 12,130 feet above sea level, Besides the lake it’s the Lush green meadow, filled with wild alpine grass and flowers, which increases the attraction of lake.

9-Banjosa Lake

Banjosa is an artificial lake and a famous tourist place near the city of Rawalakot ,Azad Kashmir. Situated at 6,499 feet above see level, the lake is surrounded by pine forest and lush green mountains, that makes it very delightful and dreamy. It is nearby by a 20 kilometers from Rawalakot.

10- Sheosare Lake

Shausar Lake a lake situated in Deosai National Park, in Gilgit-Baltistan. The lake with an approximate length of 2.3 kilometers and average depth 40 meters, is at an elevation of 13,589 ft in the Karakoram-West Tibetan Plateau alpine steppe.
